Adele’s new music video Hello has been around the world 252-million times since it was released – and that’s only the official version. When this British phenomenon went on sabbatical it seemed for a while as if the world had stopped spinning at the same speed for her hoards of fans and admirers. Even for the rest of us.
Like a majestic lioness on the African Savannah, enchanting all who are lucky enough to watch her, Adele is without doubt (in my mind anyway) one of the most gifted singers alive. And I don’t even own one single.
A voice that has become synonymous with everything wild, and wildlife, and creepy, crawly and magnificent is that of Sir Richard Attenborough. His elegant whisper-like husky voice has punctuated much of what we know about the magnificence of this planet, through documentaries that are the epitome of escapism and nostalgia for places we have never seen, yet know so well.
Britain’s BB1 loaded a video of Attenborough narrating the introduction to Adele’s newest music video. It is fun. It is cute. But mostly, it is fitting to merge the voice behind our introduction to the planet’s most wondrous natural phenomena with a voice so wondrous it is a natural phenomenon.
Sit back and enjoy.

If the reasuring voice of your childhood, Sir Attenborough himself, cannot stir the giggles within you – how about some 2015 Ellen? This one’s had the office in stitches for most of the afternoon.
