S’dumo and Nomzamo set to return to Isibaya

With no official word from Mtshali about returning to the soapie, he has been re-tweeting people who are already excited that he is coming back to the show.

Mbatha confirmed her return to Isibaya with a post on Facebook.

This is what Nomzamo Mbatha posted on her Facebook page about her return to Isibaya.

The beloved Sbu and Thandeka are making their way back to Isibaya after leaving last year.

Nomzamo had initially posted the following on her FB page over a year ago saying goodbye to Isibaya fans:

“Yesterday, I cried. I sobbed because for the first time in my life I understood what it must feel like to give birth to a child, nurse it and then put it in a basket and leave it on someone’s doorstep. Yesterday, I wailed. I wailed because my soul cried out to God to stop all that He was doing, come down and hold me so that I am reminded that He will never forsake me.

“Because liberation out of love, has never felt so painful. Yesterday, I was broken I was leaving my family, it was my last slate. Mine and my S’dums. Sdumo Mtshali, there will never be another. Your talent. Your love. Your spirit. Your friendship. We.Did.It. We made SA believe. Thank you all. For believing in my journey.

Goodbye Thandeka. Goodbye sweet girl.”

In the last episode where Sbu and Thandeka starred together, they were getting married and about to leave for another country. The episode was heart wrenching as SA was saying goodbye to Mzansi’s best couple.

There were rumours as to where the individuals were going.

Mbatha did a movie among other things and Mtshali acted on a few local soapies and starred in a few movies.

Seemingly, Isibaya is where the heart is for this duo.

Loyal viewers of Isibaya are anxiously awaiting their return.

Catch Isibaya weekdays at 20h30.
