This deal will see F.A.B working with some of the best in the world to create a remix for the hit dance single which is currently enjoying airplay in Australia, France, Germany, USA, New Zealand, Ireland, Switzerland, Spain and the UK.
He will be working with producers Damien Reilly and Noble Taylor who have collective sales of over 20 million units sold worldwide; DJ and remixer John “Alkatraz” Pirito, a Tiesto protege; Tom Polce, a highly regarded mastering engineer; and Canadian rapper Joey Stylez, who boasts over 10 million YouTube hits. The remix will be initially released to the USA and UK markets and clubs.
Raised in Booysens Park, Port Elizabeth and now based in Johannesburg, F.A.B is a rapper, singer, tattoo artist and skateboarder. His versatility allows him to create different kinds of music to cater to fans of different races and backgrounds that find his music appealing.
His aim is to pave the way for other local artists to get international deals and exposure without necessarily having to relocate thus allowing them to continue to grow the local industry and create opportunities for other new artists.
Locally, F.A.B will be releasing two singles that are part of his upcoming album Masterpiece. The first two singles, Ghetto (produced by Feleba “SK” Zuma) and Now I Understand (produced by Sinima, an American) have been receiving airplay and the videos will be debuting soon on Soweto TV, MTV Base, Channel O, Vuzu, Mzansi Music and Trace.
