Television presenter, Pearl Modiadie may be off the market, but that didn’t stop new hip hop artist The Verb 101 from expressing his love for her on his debut track. The video for tune titled Pearl Moody was released a few weeks ago and sees the rapper praising Modiadie’s looks.
In a statement, the up and coming rapper says he was inspired by Pearl Modiade’s hard work and beauty so much so that he turned her name into an adjective for all things great.
“Pearl Moody is an achievers anthem, a goal attained an an adjective for a curvaceous woman. ‘I bought a new house’; that’s Pearl Moody. ‘I bought a new car’; that’s Pearl Moody”. My money is beautiful like Pearl Moody…” says The Verb 101.
Pearl Moody has currently been picked up by 15 radio stations nationwide such as the likes of Mdantsane FM, VUT FM, Vukani FM, Voice of Thembisa, TUT FM, UCT Radio, Rhodes Music Radio, Inanda FM, North West University FM and TransAfrica Radio.
