RAMfest postponed due to weakening Rand
Ticket holders will be able to get full refunds from Computicket.
Organisers, RAMtouring and Hilltop Live, announced the postponement of the 2016 events, scheduled to be held in March 2016.
“The current Rand currency weakening has impacted the planned 2016 events hard, with the cost of bringing international artists skyrocketing,” their statement reads.
Carel Hoffman (Hilltop Live): “The really, really strange South African currency situation has forced us to cancel all of the international artists provisionally booked for Ramfest. Unfortunately we have therefore been forced to postpone Ramfest. Sorry about that guys but our hands have been cut off. We have no choice in these crazy times. We will be in touch.”
Ticket holders will be able to get full refunds from Computicket.
