Bonang to host Uganda Entertainment Awards

Matheba seems to be taking Africa by storm, as she has just returned from Nigeria where she was involved in a number of photo shoots.

Bonang “Queen B” Matheba has been announced as the host for the 2nd Annual Uganda Entertainment Awards. The awards, to be held on August 19 at the Kampala Serena Hotel, will see Ugandan artists go head to head in different categories such as Best Audio Music Producer, Best Actor, and Artist of the Year, to name but a few. There is also a Best African Act category that covers all African countries.

Nominations will close on June 9 and the board will have have 10 days to release the full list of the nominees in every category. The official voting will commence the day after the release date (which is June 19) when all voting platforms will be opened, according to the awards website.

Matheba seems to be taking Africa by storm, as she has just returned from Nigeria where she was involved in a number of photo shoots. She shared on Instagram that “greatness” was loading, without telling us what her next big project was.

This after winning the Media Personality Of The Year category at the Oliver Empowerment Awards in April.

Queen B was nominated in the category alongside Minnie Dlamini, Khanyi Mbau, Poppy Ntshongwana, Jonathan Boynton-Lee and Devi Sankaree.

Congratulations on your ventures Queen B, this can only be the beginning.
