Singer, songwriter and producer Pharrell Williams is set to perform his new single 'Happy' at the upcoming Oscars.
Oscar producers on Tuesday confirmed that Williams will sing his Oscar nominated song “Happy” at the 86th Academy Awards, The Independent reported.
Williams wrote the track for 3D animated movie Despicable Me 2‘s sountrack. It has been nominated in the Best Original Song category. Other nominees include U2’s Ordinary Love from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Let It Go by Idina Menzel from Frozen and Karen O’s The Moon Song from Her.
The Oscar’s will air on March 2 with Ellen DeGeneres as the host.
