Pastor Mboro promises to ‘boost’ ANN7’s ratings

After a dispute with Soweto TV in November last year, it is being reported that Mboro has taken his show to ANN7.

Soweto TV refused to air an episode of a couple having sex after Mboro prayed for them, which resulted in the clergyman walking away from the station.

According to TshisaLIVE, Mboro’s show aims to help struggling South Africans overcome some of their problems.

The pastor said that after people constantly questioned him about not being on TV, he decided to take up ANN7’s offer.

“People would ask me why I wasn’t on TV anymore and they asked me to come back. That was why I decided to go on ANN7. I know that they sometimes struggle but if they let me have the freedom that they promised me, I will save them and increase their ratings. I must be judged on whether I build or destroy communities,” he told the publication.

Mboro added that he hopes to give people a voice to speak about their problems and that he did not set out to degrade people’s dignity.
