Mzansi Magic has announced that actor Lerato Zah Moloi will be taking over the presenting seat in December.
Nomsa Buthelezi, dubbed the Gomorrah diva, will shoot 23 episodes of the current season until the festive season when Moloi will take over as a guest presenter.
“Nomsa is still shooting with OPW. In total, she will shoot 23 episodes of the current season. As the show has done in the past, we like to include guest presenters, especially in the summer seasons, which allows us to shoot more than one wedding per weekend,” she said.
The guest presenter is none other than actress Lerato Moloi, and she will be on our screens for a few episodes over the December period. “The winner of the OPW presenter search will be on air from January 2018,” said MNet head of publicity Nondumiso Mabece.
After seven seasons, Our Perfect Wedding will be holding auditions, opening the industry for new faces to grace our screens.
“We are looking forward to the exciting journey the show will be taking, opening up the platform for a hidden gem, a new face with untapped talent. This is an opportunity not to be missed,” says Mabece.
Contestants must be 25 years old and upwards, should be South African citizens with a valid South African ID.
The potential presenter will be auditioned by the producers and shortlisted for a second round of auditions.
A panel of judges will select the contestants that will battle it out for the public vote in the final phase.
