Orlando Bloom gets naked in Zulu

Orlando Bloom has revealed he had to wear a sock over his manhood when he filmed 'Zulu' because he is completely nude in several scenes.

Orlando Bloom appears completely nude in his upcoming movie ‘Zulu’. The 36-year-old actor has revealed he stripped off completely naked for the French-produced crime film and had to rely on a sock to spare his modesty in between takes on the movie,

During an appearance on TV show ‘Watch What Happens Live’ he was asked by a female fan if he would ever consider baring all on the big screen, to which he responded: ”You’re in luck ’cause earlier this year I spent about seven days on set wearing just a c**k sock because I’m nude! It’s a film called ‘Zulu’. It stars myself and Forest Whitaker. It’s directed by this fantastic French director called Jerome Salle. We premiered it at Cannes. You do get to see the full Orlando Bloom.”

Orlando was also quizzed on whether he had watched ‘The Bling Ring’ Sofia Coppola’s film about the teenage burglars who targeted the homes of several celebrities, including Orlando’s property in the Hollywood Hills, to rob.

The ‘Elizabethtown’ star’s house which he has just put on the market for $4.5 million was broken into in February 2009 and the four burglars stole almost $500,000 worth of personal possessions.

Orlando who is married to supermodel Miranda Kerr hasn’t yet watched the film as the incident is still upsetting to him.

He told host Andy Cohen: ”I do think it’s rather tragic that in America, something like robbing somebody’s house can be celebrated. It’s really rather ridiculous. But at the same time, I’m sure it’s probably a really interesting and fascinating story. I have yet to see the film. I’m a little on the fence. I’m had my innocence robbed, too. It’s a really awful thing to have happen to you.

”I probably will see it. I think Sofia Coppola’s an amazing director. She’s got a nose for a story.”
