New shows dropping on Netflix today

Sabrina, the witch, is back to take you on a supernatural adventure.


The end of “Januworry” is in sight and of course Netflix is there to celebrate with a multitude of new shows dropping on to the streaming service today.

All the titles:

1.Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina reimagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft. Part Three finds Sabrina reeling. Though she previously defeated her father, Lucifer, the dark lord remains trapped within the human prison of her beloved boyfriend, Nicholas Scratch. Sabrina can’t live with herself, knowing that Nick made the ultimate sacrifice and is suffering, burning in hell under Madam Satan’s watchful eye. So with help from her mortal friends, The Fright Club (consisting of Harvey, Rosalind, and Theo), Sabrina makes it her mission to free him from eternal damnation and bring him back into her arms.

2.The Ghost Bride

The Ghost Bride is set in 1890s colonial Malacca. Li Lan has received a marriage proposal from the wealthy Lim family to become the “ghost bride” to their recently deceased son. Her family will be saved from a lifetime of debt, but she’ll spend the rest of her life being haunted by the Lim family’s son. Desperate to get out of this ghastly arrangement, she soon finds herself wrapped up in a murder mystery.

3.Rise of Empires: Ottoman

Rise of Empires: Ottoman, a historical fiction docuseries, airs for the first time today. It stars Turkish talents Cem Yigit Uzumoglu, Tuba Buyukustun, Damla Sonmez and Osman Sonant. Produced by Karga Seven Pictures in association with STX Entertainment, the show also features critically acclaimed historians such as Professor Dr Celal Sengor and Dr Emrah Safa Gurkan. Shot in several locations across Istanbul and directed by Emre Sahin, Rise of Empires: Ottoman will be launched with six episodes.

4.The Ranch (Season 8)

Take one last ride to The Ranch. With Iron River Ranch now in a competitor’s hands and more trouble on the horizon, Colt, Beau and the rest of the Bennetts must band together as they face an uncertain future. The series stars Ashton Kutcher, Elisha Cuthbert and Sam 4.The Ranch (Season 8) Elliott. Created by Don Reo and Jim Patterson, The Ranch was the first comedy series produced by Netflix.

5.October Faction

Monster hunters Fred (JC MacKenzie) and Deloris Allen (Tamara Taylor) hide their identities as members of a covert syndicate while their teenage kids, Geoff (Gabriel Darku) and Viv (Aurora Burghart), are forced to live in a town trapped in the past. From the comics by Steve Niles and Damien Worm.
