Following Clarkson’s sacking from the show earlier this year, the future of the ‘cartainment’ show is unclear, however, under the Top Gear monicker, a new show will hit South African TV screens on Wednesday, Top Gear:James May’s Cars of the People.
The show debuts on BBC Knowledge, and follows May as he explores cars that defined transport. The cars, in his own word were the ones that inspired and led to luxury cars like Ferrari’s and Bentley’s.
Read about May’s take on what makes a car a Car of the People in tomorrow’s issue of The citizen.
