Sultan walks away with the $300 000 grand prize after spending 63 days in the Big Brother house. The 21-year-old became popular on the reality show after having intimate relations with a number of women in the house. Some of his fans even dubbed him “Mr Lover Man”.
With Nigerian contestants having dominated Big Brother Africa in the past, viewers were pleased that a contestant from Tanzania had won the popular competition. Sultan’s sister, Nashra Sultan travelled from Tanzania to support her younger brother.
When Sultan was named the winner she collapsed and cried with joy.
“This is a big deal for my family,” she said dressed in traditional attire. Sultan will spend a few more days in South Africa before returning home to Tanzania.
