Jozi Kota Festival

The Jozi Kota Festival returns to Newtown on Saturday, 5 April, bringing together the best kasi flavours from around the country.

Hosted at The Station ZA, the event promises a jam-packed experience featuring well-known artists.

While food is the main attraction, there will also be a dedicated kids’ area with entertainment such as giant slides, jumping castles, PlayStations, bumper rides, and rock climbing.

Mo Town Legends Tour – Lenny Williams with Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes

Music lovers are in for a treat with the Motown Legends Tour taking place at The Lyric Theatre.

Fans can look forward to an unforgettable night with iconic soul singer Lenny Williams and the legendary Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes.

The show will transport audiences back to the golden age of Motown, featuring chart-topping classics and timeless melodies.

Jozi Graffiti & Street Art Cycle Tour

For those who enjoy exploring the city on two wheels, the Jozi Graffiti & Street Art Cycle Tour offers a unique way to experience Johannesburg’s vibrant urban culture.

The tour covers Maboneng, Newtown and Braamfontein, starting and ending at Victoria Yards.

The guided tour spans a distance of 12 to 14 kilometres over five hours, providing an exciting and artistic adventure through the city’s graffiti hotspots.

Riders are encouraged to bring a water bottle, wear comfortable clothing, and apply sunscreen.

Easter Bloom Bunny – Watercolour Workshop!

Creative minds can hop into an Easter-themed artistic experience at the Easter Bloom Bunny Watercolour Workshop.

Hosted at The Creatory in Linden, this workshop is open to all skill levels, including beginners aged 10 and older.

Running from 4 to 5 April, this high-octane event promises thrilling precision driving and fierce competition.

The event features top-tier drifting talent showcasing their skills in an epic showdown of speed, technique and style.
