DJ Sbu is officially off the Metro FM line up after being suspended by the radio station for promoting his energy drink at the Metro FM Awards last month. From the 1st of April, Metro FM will introduce a split breakfast show. From 5am till 8am Glen Lewis, Unathi Msengana and Melanie Bala will present the breakfast show. Then from 8am to 10am Moflava and former YFM DJ Sammy Sosa will take over.
According to a statement by the station’s publicity manager Happy Ngidi, the two shows “Will cater to all the lifestyle needs of our listeners”.
Drive time host, TBO Touch will stay in his popular 3pm to 6pm slot along with his co-hosts Refiloe Mpakanyane and Joe Mann.
Bonang Matheba moves from having a daily show to a two hour slot on Tuesdays.
