Mbalula can keep Beyoncé, Ndlozi chooses Rihanna

The police minister still listens to Rihanna's music though.

While all of South Africa has been crushing on EFF national spokesperson and the people’s bae, Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, it seems Ndlozi has had his eye set on Rihanna this whole time!

The people’s bae left his social media followers complaining after posting a picture of Rihanna wearing a red beret on Monday. He said Wednesday was too far for him to wait to declare the Barbadian singer his #WomanCrushWednesday.

Some, though, did not want to jump to conclusions, so they asked the people’s bae if he liked the person or the red beret, but he hasn’t responded. Others have suggested that he send her a DM and just let her know.

Wednesday is too far #WomanCrush

These were some of the reactions on social media:

“And you know she is very radical on that red beret.”

“The honourable with honourable taste…I salute.”

“You are impatient Dr. Comrade Bae @mbuyisenindlozi or maybe she’s just killing you softly.”

“That moment when your crush is crushing someone else.”

“And daily I so want to be energetic like her.”

“Doc are you crushing on the hat or something else.”

While we all know that Police Minister Fikile Mbalula is a Beyoncé fan, it seems EFF leader Julius Malema may also be in the same boat, though he has not made that clear.

He has previously posted a video of Adele dedicating her Grammy award to Beyoncé, and wrote: “Powerful, salute Black child.” Perhaps the CiC doesn’t have a crush on Beyoncé, but was just encouraging black people that it is possible to achieve their dreams.

Watch the video he posted below:

Powerful, salute Black child. ❤️👍🏿🙌🏿👊🏿✊🏿
