Live report: 2016 Metro FM awards

The 15th annual Metro FM Music Awards took place in Durban on 27 February and Emtee, Fifi Cooper and Nathi Mankayi were among of the evening’s biggest winners.

Rapper Emtee, whose real name is Mthembeni Ndevu, walked away with four  awards. He won best remix for his single Roll Up,in which featured AKA [Kiernen Forbes] and Wiz Kid [Ayodeji Balogun]. He also won Best Hip Hop album for Avery, Best Music Video for Roll Up and the Listener’s choice award.

Television personality Bonang Matheba has pulled out all the stops to make sure that all eyes are on her at the 15th  annual Metro FM Music Awards taking place in Durban tonight.

The Afternoon Express presenter, who will be hosting the show with radio personality DJ Moflava, has flown in a stylist from the USA, by the name of Law Roach to help her prepare for the event.

Roach regularly styles, Disney star Zendaya Coleman and has work with celebrities such as Ariana Grande and Tamar Braxton.
