Kendrick Lamar heading to SA in November

Award-winning US rapper Kendrick Lamar will be heading to South Africa towards the end of the year for a three-city tour courtesy of Miller Genuine Draft.

Taking Miller Boomtown to the next level after the popular 2 Chainz performance at the Durban July, Lamar will be performing in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban in November.

“With the recent success and popularity of Miller BoomTown at the Durban July, we decided to take Miller Boomtown on tour for everyone to have access to the experience,” says Miller Genuine Draft Marketing Manager, Carmen Hobbs.

“And who better to align the beer with a fresh take on things than the freshest MC on the globe right now, Kendrick Lamar. It’s all about keeping things fresh with Miller.”

Tickets for the shows are available from Computicket, Checkers, and Shoprite, and range from R350 – R650. VIP tickets are being sold for R1900.

Kendrick Lamar will be at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on November 7, at the Wave House in Durban on November 8, and at the Johannesburg Stadium on November 9.
