Is Zodwa Wabantu getting married?
Zodwa Wabantu has us confused after announcing on Instagram that she’s about to get married, before deleting the post.
It’s been a week of wedding-related announcements, following Somizi’s big engagement news.
Not one to be overshadowed, Zodwa Wabantu joined in by announcing that she too would be getting married.
Zodwa took to Instagram to write “Ngiyashada” (which means ‘I am getting married’) on Instagram alongside a picture of her boyfriend.
Shortly after posting this picture, her comments were flooded by dozens of fans who were already asking if they could be on the guest list (although some of the comments verged on being inappropriate).

Although she has yet to comment or elaborate on the “announcement”, Zodwa was asked about her relationship earlier in the year and at the time she played down all wedding and marriage speculation.
She said at the time: “He is fun but he is not husband material. We are just hanging out. He comes to my shows, we eat, we drink and we do a whole lot of other things together. It is just someone to talk to.”
