I don’t think I will ever take fill up to Durban again, says Cassper

As South Africans and Cassper Nyovest prepare for yet another banging concert later this year, the musician has made it clear that the chances of taking it back to Moses Mabhida stadium were slim to none. This because of the industry politics in that part of the world, said Cassper.

Hours before his concert last year, Cassper revealed that he was dealing with a “hectic issue” that could either make or break his concert.

Though he could not share more information on what exactly was happening, Cassper revealed he was sad because he was fighting with “black people” who had the power to either help make his show a success or “make sure” it didn’t happen.

“All I have is the fans really.

“This show was almost stopped five times and we kept on pushing and persevering! Even right now as we speak I’m dealing with a very hectic issue that is a make or break. I need your prayers. Hopefully, we will see this through. I stay prayerful and hopeful,” he said at the time.

It seems the Monate Mpolaye hitmaker is not over the drama.

Responding to a fan who asked him to return to Durban, Cassper said: “I don’t think I would ever bring fill up to Durban ever again. I love the fans cause they are just supportive of great ideas but the politics of the industry there are the worst I’ve experienced in my life. I was scared for my life and I just wanted to be out. Glad it’s over.”

He is yet to announce the date and venue for the next fill-up gig.
