HomeComing Picnic promises an epic encore
Over the years, HomeComing has evolved into one of the household names when coming to local entertainment hosts. The event organisation was founded by two friends, Katlego Malatji and Neo Moela.
Having stretched seven years, the HomeComing Picnic has undoubtedly left a mark, but this year will be the final installment of their annual picnics that have run since 2008. HomeComing is known for reuniting old friends, who had moved all over SA, and connecting new ones through intimate picnics. The event now boasts an audience of about 10 000 people.
The renowned atmosphere that the event brings has been livened with local greats such as Thebe, Jullian Gomes, Ross Jack, AKA, Cassper Nyovest, JR, Lulo Café, DJ Warras, Black Motion and others gracing their stage.
Like all good things, HomeComing is coming to an end. But this last edition promises to be a memorable one, as they are planning on bowing out with a bang. Local superstars Black coffee, HHP, Khuli Chana and many more are set to hit the stage.
HomeComing Picnic will be taking place on the October 3 at Silver Falcon Rugby. This will be a fun-filled day where people can bring their camp chairs, cooler boxes and brace themselves for a day of amazing entertainment and performances.
