The Minister of Arts & Culture Nathi Mthethwa has called a meeting of all stakeholders involved this morning. Desmond Brown, the actors legal representative, said the meeting in Pretoria called for the rescheduling of the press conference.
Following executive producer Mfundi Vundla’s revelations about R55 000 average salaries on Friday, many were keen to hear what the actors had to say for themselves.
They will now hold a press conference on Tuesday afternoon following their meeting with the minister and the show’s producers.
The Generations actors have been on strike for a week now, demanding better wages, a cut of the show’s royalties and three year extended contracts.
