DJ Arch’s dad answers sceptics
DJ Arch Jnr addresses 'foul play' allegations.
Toddler DJ Arch Junior’s dad has had to defend his credibility as the youngest winner of SA’s Got Talent.
On Tuesday, pictures circulated online alleging that the 3-year-old had played pre-recorded mix in his performances. The image show free ports where audio output cables should have been plugged in.
But on Tuesday morning, his father Glen Hlongwane took time to “educate” sceptics and explained: “Normally when you use a computer and a controller you have 2 options when it comes to audio out, it is either you go with the computers audio out or the controllers audio out.”
“Usually I use the controllers audio out but it gave us a buzzing sound so we had to go with the computers audio out, makes no difference really.”
“Was [the mix] that good that people thought it was fake?” he asked.
Michael Pocock from e-TV, SA’s Got Talent host channel, said: “The public voted for him so they wanted him to see him win.”
