‘Dirty dancing’ bride on Our Perfect Wedding
In the past few weeks on Our Perfect Wedding, we've seen older couples who have enlightened 23-year-old ladies who think time is no longer on their side when it comes to marriage.

This is because we had older couples who had been married before and are taking their second chance with love.
Last night, we met Vusi and Mmabatho, who were both not looking for love because they had just come out of relationships. Vusi first saw Mmabatho in a bus and was not impressed with her, because according to him, she looked very unkempt and he thought that she was a bit too loud.
The next day when she got in the bus, Vusi was taken aback because she looked different and this time he was impressed, she looked stunning and he made sure that he sat next to her.
First impressions do not always last after all.
However, for Mabatho, she really didn’t find Vusi attractive although she ended up giving him her phone number. Vusi eventually managed to capture her heart because she felt that he was not like most guys, he genuinely cared about her.
The couple, having been in previous relationships, were faced with a challenge from their former partners and adult children who could not accept their relationship, but love won in the end.
Coming to the wedding:
Vusi has probably spent so much money on previous partners that he was just over it, anything Mmabatho chose was good as long as Vusi didn’t have to pay extra for it.
The colours of the day were coral, grey, a touch of black and white, something recycled and vintage. You’d think it was too much but the decor came together amazingly well, the bride does know her stuff and the decor lady? Kudos to you!
The design of the bridesmaid dresses was not that bad, it’s the material that messed things up, silk is shiny; it does not choose whether you’re inside a building or outside in the sun, it still shines.
The groomsmen suits, I think it’s important to note that the groom and his friends are not 20 anymore, so perhaps give them a break and not comment? I can comment on the sizes though, they were too big, or were they into that “you’ll grow into it” notion, if that was the case, then I rest my case.
When asked what he thought of Mmabatho’s bouquet, as beautiful as it was, he just said he didn’t mind as long as it didn’t cost him any more money.
Mmabatho said she wanted to enjoy her big day, she expressed this through her dancing, if you think brides are supposed to dance ‘decently’ when in their wedding gowns, you got it all wrong, Mmabatho danced so much that Vusi even complained he made her look like an “idiot”.
Not only did he complain about her dancing moves, her talkative nature seems to be a problem as well, Mmabatho talks so much Vusi started complaining when they were discussing the decor choices. In fact, Vusi complained about the first day he met Mmabatho, apparently she looked “dirty”.
May I also complain about Mmabatho being 40 and looking 25? You would say her daughter was her sister if you didn’t know, she looked young and even more beautiful in her wedding gown.
I thought this was a perfect wedding, what did you think?
