Die Antwoord on ‘Chappie’ set

Die Antwoord, the zef rapper duo, are on set and filming Neill Blomkamp’s latest movie, Chappie.

The duo was recently joined by British actor and Slumdog Millionaire star, Dev Patel, on set for the film.

Wolverine star, Hugh Jackman, will also appear in the sci-fi film but the actor hasn’t arrived in South Africa yet.

South African, Blomkamp, is best known for his previous projects including District 9 and Elysium that starred Matt Damon. Both of which were box office hits.

Sharlto Copley, Dev Patel and Sigourney Weaver will also appear in the film.

“It’s a science-fiction comedy thing, that’s as far as I can go with that,” Blomkamp previously told Empire regarding the film’s plot.

According to Channel24, Yo-Landi shared a pic from the set on Facebook on Tuesday with the caption; “Neill Blomkamp’s makin me a movie star! Xxx”
