Christina Aguilera coming back to SA

ANN7 is pulling out all the stops for their second South African of the Year awards.


In fact, this morning the organisers for the awards announced Christina Aquilera will be headlining the show. It’s been a decade since the singer graced South Africa. Back in 2005 she formed part of a Unite of the Stars banquet at the then Coca Cola Dome.

This time round, she will be teaming up with fellow American Jason Derulo and South African stars AKA, The Soil and Chiano Sky to bring the second South African of the Year Awards to life.

The awards recognises South Africans who made an impact in the local and international community. What sets the awards apart from other award shows are that the public can vote for their favourite nominees.

The nominees are who will join Aquilera at the Ticket Pro Dome on October 17 for the award show include:
