It’s no secret that Zodwa has been putting in the hours in the entertainment industry, to ensure her bank account looks healthy. She has also made it clear that she doesn’t care about anything else except making money. Zodwa Wabantu is too busy counting her coins to worry about chasing degrees and suffering exam stress.
So when a follower told Zodwa she should consider going back to school, she didn’t take it lightly.
“When are you going back to school Zodwa? Even Julius Malema went back to school, he’s a graduate and he registered to do his Masters at Wits. There is hope for everyone if you believe in yourself,” said the follower.
Zodwa quickly set her straight with a stinging response, revealing that she was on the brink of being a millionaire and was happy with her life.
“I’m so sorry, I will never go back to school. I’m okay counting my R800 000 wishing to reach a million soon,” she said.
During a previous interview with TshisaLIVE Zodwa revealed that she failed matric and “hustled” on the streets of Jo’burg to make a living.
“I left home when I was 16 and until today, no matter how hard life was out there, I never packed up and went back home. When you are young, you are less fearful of life because you are optimistic compared to when you are older. Back then I just hustled,” she said.
