Yoweri Museveni thanks Kanye West for ‘the gift of white sneakers’
Kanye and Kim gifted the president a pair of the highly coveted sneakers designed by the rapper.

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni took to Twitter to welcome Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West to Uganda after the pair met with him to discuss promoting the country’s tourism and arts.
After the meeting, the group posed for photos and Kanye gifted the 74-year-old president with the latest pair of his infamous Yeezy sneakers. This design is dubbed the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Triple White” and retails for about $220 (R3150).

Kim and Kanye both signed the president’s sneakers before he gave Kanye an honorary Ugandan name “Kanyesigye” which reportedly means “trust”.
The Wests are vacationing in a national park where Kanye is said to be recording music after promising to come to Africa to complete his next project which he revealed will be titled “Yandhi”.
He is also getting his introduction to some of the continent’s best artists.
