White kid gives Cassper hope about racism

‘I was impressed with his parents for teaching him the importance of our South African culture.’

No one is born racist. Racism, like manners, humility, love and gratitude are taught at home, according to South African Hip Hop star Cassper Nyovest.

This comes after the Doc Shebeleza hitmaker was approached by a young white kid who greeted him in Zulu, saying Sawubona.

Humbled by the attitude of the young citizen, with the tags #Rainbownation #RacismMustFall, Cassper post the humbling experience on Instagram.

“So I was busy shooting a Tv ad today and this young chap walks up to me and says ‘Sawobona’. I was so impressed with him but most of all I was impressed with his parents for teaching him the importance of our South African culture. Racism is taught at home, just like manners, humility, love and gratitude. Shout out to the guardians that raise kids with morals like these, parents and helpers [SIC],” wrote Cassper.

This comes after weeks of racial tensions, with former KwaZulu-Natal south coast estate agent Penny Sparrow calling black people monkeys, and Velaphi Khumalo who called for black South Africans to do to white people what “Hitler did to the Jews”, and Gareth Cliff being sacked as Idols SA judge.
