Fans are speculating that Depp has lost weight for his next film, City of Lies, about the murders of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G, which is coming out in September.
Fans have also taken to Instagram to suggest the frail look could be for his most recent role in Richard Says Goodbye.
“Richard Says Goodbye is the movie he’s starring in, where he is terminally ill. That’s why he looks the way he does,” a fan shared.
According to IMDb, the film is set to hit cinemas in late 2018. No official statements have been released at present.
