The promotional images for Babes Wodumo and Mapintsha’s upcoming ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ themed tour are out and fans are NOT happy.
This is namely because of the fact that the pair recently trended and ended up in court after video footage of Mampintsha (real name Mandla Maphumulo) beating Babes (real name Bongekile Simelane) was shared online by the latter.
The pair reconciled before the matter was even settled in court and have since promised to embark on a Bonnie and Clyde-style tour.
They released the promotional images earlier this week, ahead of women’s day, and received heavy backlash from the less-than-impressed public.
Many believed that the first image, showing Babes hiding in a bathroom and holding a gun while Mampintsha creeps up with a gun in his hands was a reference to the way Reeva Steenkamp died.
Others took to the thread to beg the pair not to bring the tour to their areas.
