Award-winning South African artist, Toya Delazy, has released the highly anticipated music video for her latest hit single Nu High. Delazy’s Nu High single has been released both in the UK and in SA to great reception, and the visuals have now been released on VEVO and will start enjoying airplay on MTV Base, Trace TV and Channel O this month, among other TV platforms.
The musician’s Nu High music video was conceptualised by Delazy Entertainment and Cape Town director Wynand van Wyk, with scenes being shot in Cape Town, Hluhluwe, Phinda, and London (East London and Soho). Nu High joins Delazy’s already impressive catalogue of music videos that are fan favorites across the globe. Shot in typical Toya Delazy style, fans can expect a music video that plays around with colour, silhouettes, changing angles and profiles, and takes the viewer on a journey.
“I went out of my comfort zone with the Nu High music video. It was worth the early morning, driving across the country, the blazing sun and even wearing a dress, as I couldn’t have asked for a better end product. I had to shoot parts of my music video in South Africa, not only to contribute to the local economy but to show the world just how beautiful my home is,” Delazy said.
Nu High is currently already playlisted in close to 40 radio stations across the country on stations, such as 5FM, Highveld Stereo, East Coast Radio, GoodHope FM and YFM just to name a few.
Delazy is about to embark on an African tour in Spring.
