“He asked me out on a date, and needless to say, the rest is history,” Minnie Dlamini wrote on Instagram ahead of the episode’s release on Awkward Dates.
Minnie and Lasizwe enjoyed their date as they shared loud laughs, indulged in delicacies, and fed each other. However, they both agreed that they are not each other’s types. Minnie said she likes her man bigger.
“I don’t think I have a specific type. I just like strong guys, like pick me up with one hand and flip me over… I’d really like a guy who is ambitious, and fun, like let’s have a good time.
“I feel like life happened quickly for me, and I misconstrued success early into thinking that I was mature enough to move into the next level in life,” she said.
Lasizwe also shared that he preferred a muscular man. He added: “I want someone willing to listen, who is optimistic and understanding.”

Lasizwe launched Awkward Dates two months ago and has already had stars such as her sister Khanyi Mbau, Toss, Mihlali, Kwenzo Ngcobo, Ntando Duma, and others on the show.
The show started a few months after he made a tearful announcement that he was leaving YouTube.
“Making this video has been so difficult for me as YouTube is my first home. Thank you to everyone who has supported and helped me grow in my YouTube journey, but it’s time we say goodbye to this chapter, and let’s make room for a new era.”
“I think we all saw it coming. Last year, I hit the brick wall. I became so depressed I landed up in hospital. I had a mental breakdown, and I decided to choose myself. Not knowing how I’m going to sustain myself, not knowing how I’m going to live it was tough. I decided to stop doing YouTube for a year to figure out what was going on with me. Learning that I’ve grown, and you have watched me grow.”
