A video of Amapiano pioneer Kabza De Small talking about makeup has upset many people on social media.
In the video, the award-winning DJ and producer said women who do their own makeup look like corpses.
In translation, he said: “When this whole makeup thing started, professional makeup artists used to do it. You guys look like corpses since you started doing your own makeup.”
He then made comments about dark-skinned ladies who use pink blush, saying pink blush is for light-skinned women.
“Pink on black does not work,” he added.

Many people have since reacted, calling Kabza out. One netizen said Kabza should focus on hydrating his face.
“It’s always men like #Kabza having such opinions about women while ditaba tsa Banna Di ba palla. He should have focused on hydrating that face.”
Another one said: “I just need Kabza to focus on making good music in the studio and stop making jokes about women because it won’t end well. This is why I love Kelvin Momo, he’s so unproblematic.”
The DJ is reportedly gearing up to wed his long-time partner, Kamogelo Moropa, a nurse.
According to Zimoja, the pair will tie the knot in December this year. The publication claims a source revealed Kabza and his wife-to-be have already started with the wedding plans.
“Everyone involved has to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement from the cake designer to the dress designer.
“These two are such a beautiful pair, they have been serving couple goals since they were teenagers, I can’t wait to see them finally together. She comes from a hard-working background, her mom has taught her at an early stage to be independent and she is passionate about helping sick people, her goal is to open her own private clinic,” a source said, as quoted by the publication.
