After posting an image of himself and his family catching a Gautrain, Twitter was quick to respond to Riky Rick, questioning if he had lost out on all the perks that came with being a Mabala Noise artist.
Blessed beyond my wildest dreams to have such a loving and supportive family. Everything will be okay ❤️… THANK YOU GOD. pic.twitter.com/MyVM0oMIvK

The pic was so adorable, but Twitter couldn’t let it slide that for once King Kotini was using public transport like the rest of us. People also noticed that Riky is sporting a cleaner look and wasn’t wearing his grills.

Riky Rick recently announced his resignation from Mabala Noise, taking to Twitter to reveal that he had left the record label, adding he had a moment of clarity at the Metro FM Awards when he slammed the public broadcaster for not playing enough local music and pushing artists.
“I didn’t think about the consequences or who would get mad. I just wanted to do the right thing. Inspire the kids to not be slaves to THEM. You might see all this material shit and think It makes life easier. It doesn’t. Money Its just an illusion to keep us making DUMB decisions,” Riky tweeted.
He also said Mabala had taken back all the gifts they bought him.
Mabala signed Riky last year, and it was rumoured his contract was secured for R5 million. Though he never confirmed this, he went on a massive shopping spree, splurging on expensive German cars and getting kitted out in Gucci.
