Tumi Masemola to star in new sitcom

Her new sitcom, Vat en Sit, on ekasi+ is reportedly a series to look out for.

“Vat en Sit is about a couple who do all they can to stay together even though their parents do not support their relationship,” Tumi said to SunBuzz.

“The man is a baker, while the woman comes from a well- off family. So her parents despise the man because he owns a bakery.”

Tumi said the sitcom is “funny and interesting”.

“The series is very funny and interesting. We have also accommodated foreign actors to add more flavour to the content and language.” She explains.

Tumi also said she has always wanted to tell a story like ‘Vat en Sit’s’ but was looking for the right platform to showcase it.

‘Vat en Sit’ will air on ekasi+ in April, every Thursday at 9pm.
