Trevor Noah and his friends have a standing annual date where they all get together around the festive season and not even the pandemic could stop them in 2021.
In recent days, Noah’s friends have been sharing images and videos to various social media platforms capturing some moments during the time they are spending together and fans were excited to see that his girlfriend Minka Kelly was in the mix.
Minka was spotted in the background of an image posted by author and chief marketing officer at rain South Africa, Khaya Dlanga which Trevor also posted to his own Instagram profile.
Minka, Khaya and Trevor were all present along with Anele Mdoda, Sizwe Dhlomo, Sizwe’s girlfriend Kim Demorney and some other friends for a lunch in celebration of Xolisa Dyeshana’s birthday.
“Is that Minka?!” commented Instagram user @edzahida, while @claudiamatoscaetano simply wrote “Awww, Minka.”
Trevor’s comments were full of responses in a similar vein as fans rejoiced her presence in the country and took it as a sign that their relationship is going well.
This comes after a rumoured break-up between the pair and the sale of a home that Trevor is said to have bought for himself and Minka to share.
According to US publication, Page Six, Trevor Noah, 37, and Minka Kelly, 41, began dating in 2020 but broke up in May after nine months of dating.
“The two appeared to reconcile quickly, as they were subsequently spotted on vacation in St Barts and then walking together through New York City in June,” wrote the publication.
In previous years, the group of friends have travelled to the United States and Asia with Noah as part of this standing appointment to see each other annually so fans think it’s a big deal that Minka joined them this year.
Anele even joked about the trip, calling it an annual general meeting (AGM) in one of her posts.
The group all seem to be enjoying their time out in the Cape Winelands.
