Top actor, businessman accuses famous partner of stealing R2m from joint bank account
The couple are embroiled in a messy split which involves lawyers.

Mandla Ngcongwane has accused his partner of 16 years, Tumi Masemola of withdrawing R2,2 million from their joint bank account and spending R700 000 in cash.
According to Sunday World, the couple who have two children together are going through a messy split which involves their lawyers. They were business partners and co-owned Black Brain Pictures, a production company which has produced shows such as City Ses’La and Mzansi Magic’s Lockdown drama which currently airs.
Ngcongwane filed a court application with the South Gauteng High Court stating that Masmola had withdrawn the funds unlawfully. She has also resigned from the company they own.
Ngcongwane said he had asked his partner to pay back the money but she had failed to do so instead spending R700 000 of the cash.
“I am entertainer and I want to be known only for that,” said Masemola when asked for comment.
