DJ Tira ties the knot

The couple tied the knot during an intimate ceremony which was, according to the Sowetan, a “top secret” affair “with only celebrities within their circles, close friends and close family present”.

Famous names on the guest list are said to have included Mafikizolo, Donald, and DJs Cndo and Oskido.

Kwaito trio Big Nuz were also invited, and the Daily Sun reports that the loved-up couple made their way to the marquee to their hit song, ‘Inazo’.

The DJ’s marriage to Gugu is his second. He split from his first wife, Lale Ngcobo, in a very messy and public divorce after just two years of marriage. They have reportedly settled their differences but were at the time hardly speaking amidst accusations that he was a bad husband who was never around.

Gugu is a choreographer who has worked with Mafikizolo and also on reality programme ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. The couple have a three-year-old child, Chase, together. DJ Tira owns the Afrotainment record label.
