New couple alert? Thuli Phongolo and DJ Maphorisa videos go viral

Actress Thuli Phongolo’s dating life is once again a point of discussion on Twitter after several videos and pictures were uncovered by the “Twitter CSI”.

It is unclear why Phongolo’s relationship status causes so much conversation. It may be because of her looks or the fact that she has been famous since her days on Generations: The Legacy as Namhla Diale.

From being linked to Duduzane Zuma, Master KG to Eric Macheru, Phongolo’s latest alleged love interest is popular music producer DJ Maphorisa.

Twitter users have done their best “investigative” work, noticing that Maphorisa and Phongolo may have taken pictures in the same room but separately.

This tweet above quickly went viral, with Phongolo denying she was seeing anyone.

“…and the truth remains, I’m single,” she tweeted.

Days before, Phongolo cryptically shared that she is not ready to date just yet.

“Every day I think I’m ready to date but then every day I’m not ready… because wow, amadoda!” she wrote.

However, “evidence” to the contrary quickly flooded Twitter timelines, showing Phongolo twerking for DJ Maphorisa and cuddled up as people assumed this must mean they are a couple.

Tweeps were divided on the possible new celeb couple, with some saying the matchup doesn’t make sense. However, the two do share the same love for music and DJing.

Recently, Phongolo has been booked and busy, DJing across the country and also being on set for a new show.

Despite her career flourishing, Phongolo’s personal and dating life seems to get more attention.

Last year, Phongolo’s rumoured relationship with Duduzane Zuma was quickly squashed by the two but this didn’t stop people from still assuming they were together.
