Thembeka is leaving Scandal

Talented Masasa Mbangeni, known as Thembeka Shezi on etv’s Scandal, is leaving the soapie after years of being on our television screens. Thembeka, who was capable of making anyone believe what she said no matter how ridiculous it sounded, has confirmed her sad exit from the show.

In the soapie, we never heard much about her family, except that Lucas Nyathi did something bad to her father back in their time. Since then, she turned into a bitter and manipulating woman, even manipulating the man she claimed to love, Quinton Nyathi, how he fell for it, we have no idea, guess love is blind!

Thembeka even had real mother-in-law problems because Quinton’s mother, Layla, hated her. But, because she is Thembeka, Layla was always put under control.

One of her followers on Twitter could not believe the news, however, Masasa confirmed, she tweeted:

Masasa’s acting is phenomenal and we wish her all the best in her future endeavours, Scandal will never be the same without her. However, she sounds like she has big plans, we might see her on our screens again, who knows? She tweeted:
