Lockdown seems to be getting to everybody as celebs have taken to solving their differences with their fists and not their words.
Hot on the heels of the violent altercation between Boity Thulo and Bujy Bikwa comes confirmation of a fight between rapper Stogie T and music industry executive Nota Baloyi.
Nota began trending on Sunday evening after claiming that he bested Stogie (real name Tumi Molekane, formerly Tumi from Tumi and The Volume) in a fight.
Nota then went live on Instagram and later posted the video from the live stream to his Instagram account claiming that Stogie had assaulted a woman in the nightclub they were in and that Nota confronted him because of that.
“I didn’t fight. I didn’t fight dawg. I’m just here to set the record straight and save the live so that you guys get the story.”
Baloyi then went on to describe the alleged altercation in very colourful language while making fun of Stogie’s weight.
He then tried to dictate the angle that reporters should take when covering what he said in the video.
Baloyi admitted to spending his own money to “end” Stogie’s career and told the rapper that he was “done”.

He went as far as to show his WhatsApp chat history with the rapper to claim that they had even intended to meet publicly to fight each other.
Nota continued to post about the issue, seemingly in an effort to taunt Stogie which prompted the rapper to release a statement.
“As an artist, I support free speech and the right of anyone to express their feelings on various public platforms… Nota Baloyi has made a name for himself by slandering various creatives in the arts and culture space, with the particular vitriol reserved for me,” wrote Stogie.
The rapper went on to state that Nota had lied about various encounters, charged Stogie with “destroying the culture” and even made disparaging statements about Stogie’s mother, Deputy Minister of State Security Ellen Molekane.
Stogie further confirmed that they were involved in an altercation on Sunday.
“… I was minding my own business when Nota encroached my section. I interpreted this as a provocation and gestured for him to leave and an unfortunate fracas ensued. I regret that it had to get to all that…” he added.
He concluded by apologising to his family, his church and the hip hop community for his conduct.
He didn’t confirm whether or not he would be taking legal action against Baloyi.
