South African rappers accused of cheating
Rappers around the world have a reputation for not being the most faithful partners when it comes to relationships, and the same rings true in South Africa.

While most rappers tend to stay single, some of those who have taken the time to settle down with one partner have been accused of cheating at least once.
Whether or not the accusations were valid, here are a few local wordsmiths who had to deal with cheating rumours.
Reason
Reason left his wife in 2015/16 and started dating LootLove a short while later. However, many people believe he cheated on his wife with the presenter before they officially split up (something he has denied numerous times).
AKA
To say AKA was accused of cheating is a mild understatement; his baby mama, DJ Zinhle, revealed that he had admitted to having been unfaithful while she was pregnant. Ouch.
AKA was accused of cheating yet again, this time on his current girlfriend, Bonang Matheba. Neither he nor Bonang have responded to these accusations at the time of writing.
Cassper Nyovest
As soon as Cassper and Boity broke up, people speculated that the rapper had cheated on his ex-girlfriend. As it turns out, he did, and admitted as much in a song on his most recent album.
Proverb
Proverb and his wife, Onaleruna, divorced after she cheated on him. However, it’s worth noting that a few years earlier, it was the rapper and Idols host who had to answer to cheating allegations.
Da L.E.S.
Da L.E.S. and his on-off baby mama made tabloid fodder when she accused him of hooking up with her best friend while they were together.
Junior De Rocka
Rapper and DJ, Junior De Rocka has been accused of cheating on his girlfriend, Ntando Duma numerous times. Twitter detectives have been in full force, finding threads and hints in his alleged side-chick’s Snapchat stories.
