What to expect on the new season of ‘Entangled’

The new season promises to be a carnival of emotions with its creative plots and unforgettable characters.

According to the Press Release, Season 2 will kick things off with the complicated yet magnetic journey of Sharon, played by Phuti Khomo, and Sizwe, now played by Sisanda Henna.

“Amidst the chaos of their individual lives, they sense an undeniable spark that persistently binds them together, regardless of their commitments to other partners. Each episode lays out the pain and sweetness of finding and holding onto love, interspersed with sharp and witty humour.

“Hopeless romantic Sharon thinks she has successfully put Sizwe in her past. Until life’s unexpected, comical, and heartbreaking turns draw her back towards him. Their story, along with the experiences of their friends, reflects a vibrant, sincere, and playful exploration of love against the charming backdrop of Mzansi.”

According to information on the 1Magic website, Entangled is about more than love in danger through the characters and storylines.

“We explore the trials of life in our 30s, navigating friendships, the concept of masculinity, culture clashes, sexual orientation. And the ever-pressing discussions of what modern-day relationships look like through a humorous lens,”

“If your 20s are meant to be a time of fun and messy self-discovery, then your 30s are for nursing the hangover from some of those bad decisions. At least that’s the case for the characters in Entangled,” explain the showrunners as quoted on the website.
