Simon Cowell will reportedly spend over £30,000 on his baby’s nursery.
The media mogul – who is expecting his first child with Lauren Silverman – is said to have opened an account with Petit Tresor.
The luxury baby boutique has attracted many famous parents, and its past customers include star couples Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.
According to reports in The Sun on Sunday newspaper, one of the ‘X Factor’ boss’ assistants has requested a brochure.
It seems Simon is sparing no expense when it comes to his unborn baby – he may have to pay £965 for a cradle and crib, almost £10,000 for a wardrobe, while the site also charges £1,385 for a bed.
A boutique source said: ”Many of the parents we cater for spend more than £30,000 or more decorating their babies’ nurseries and playrooms.”
The 53-year-old star seems to be pressing on with preparing for his child’s birth, and it was recently reported he was considering naming it after his father.
An insider previously revealed: ”If it’s a boy, Simon wants to call him Eric and if it’s a girl Erica. His dad meant the world to him and Simon feels the name would be a fitting tribute.
”Lauren has not decided yet, but is taking Simon’s input very seriously.
”She likes the name Eric as it is unusual in America and quite stylish. She also feels Erica is a cool name for a girl.”
