Simon Cowell gave R1 011.37 to a homeless man on Saturday.
The X Factor boss, who is blissfully happy to be expecting his first child with his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, was photographed making the generous donation as he stopped at a set of traffic lights in his convertible black Bentley in Los Angeles.
The 53-year-old star was awarded by Lauren, 36, for his kind gesture as she instantly leaned over to give him a passionate kiss before the lights turned green, according to the MailOnline website.
The couple were reportedly making their way to Santa Monica for the day.
Simon recently admitted that he is over-the-moon about becoming a father after initially freaking out because Lauren was still married to her ex-husband Andrew Silverman when they discovered the news.
The former couple finalised their divorce last month and share custody of their son, Adam, seven, and Lauren is now happily preparing for the new arrival next February.
Simon said: ”I am happy at the moment actually. It’s kind of an unusual feeling. … Overall, everything is fine. But obviously I had a very traumatic time over the summer.
”I genuinely never thought [me being a Dad] was going to happen … Partly because I was scared of who I was going to have kids with…[but] Lauren and I get along really well and once I got used to the idea I thought, ‘I think this is going to be very good.”’
