Royal family members gather for Easter church service without Queen Elizabeth II
Continuing with the tradition, royal family members made their way to St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle to attend the annual Easter Sunday service.
According to People Magazine, Queen Elizabeth II, who is a devout Christian and the head of the church in England did not attend the Easter church service.
A source revealed to The Mail that it has been decided that the Queen will be making less public appearances due to her declining health, and that if she does appear for any public events, it will be decided on the day of the event based on how she’s doing and feeling.
“The assumption must now be that the Queen will not be present at events. If Her Majesty does attend, it will be decided on the day and she will be accompanied by another member of the royal family,” said the source.
This year, Kate Middleton and Prince William experienced a first as they got the chance to take their eldest children, Princess Charlette and Prince George to the church service for the first time.

“He loves his son and he has been broken-hearted by everything that has taken place, although he fears history repeating itself with Harry just as it did with Princess Diana.
“But he also wants to keep the door open and keep talking, something he still regrets not doing with Diana.” said the source.
