In this week’s royal update, we learn that Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozi have finally chosen a name for their baby girl, who is named after her grandmother and great-grandmother.
The Queen holds Kate in high regards and feels that she can one day become head of the royal family, Princess Charlene of Monaco seems to be doing well despite being away from her family and home for some time, and Harry and Meghan may have taken a trip to New York to shoot some content for their Netflix shows.
Ranking among one of the most popular members of the royal family, Kate Middleton has recently been given a dub of approval from Queen Elizabeth, who thinks that she has what it takes to become the head of the family one day.
According to royal expert Joe Little, the Queen is very fond of how traditional Kate is, and regards her as “a safe pair of hands”.
“The queen very much regards Catherine as … a safe pair of hands,” said the expert.
When Joe addressed the royal family order which was given to Kate by the Queen, he said: “That’s something that’s only given to the female members of the royal family who have been around for quite some time and are deemed to be of great support to the queen.
“I would say that the queen has great trust in the future Prince and Princess of Wales William and Catherine will be one day and, you know, in the fullness of time … King William and Queen Catherine,” he added.
Princess Charlene of Monaco made headlines after taking to social media to post a video where she wished hers and her husband Prince Albert’s foundations a successful evening at the Monte-Carlo Gala for Planetary Health fundraiser event, which took place on 23 September 2021.
According to Express, the video was merely Charlene’s attempt to show that her heart and thoughts were with all those involved in her and her husband’s foundations, however, other international publications did not see her Instagram post that way, and reported that her post could have a deeper meaning to whatever she may be going through, being away from her family and her home for this long.
Her Serene highness recently posted a picture of herself looking happy and healthy, while doing some personal bible study.
The princess flew to South Africa months ago to focus on her foundation’s work, and to visit her brother and her friends who live in the country.
She is still in South Africa after battling an ear, nose, and throat infection which has held her back from flying back home to Monaco.

The 33-year-old princess and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozi welcomed their baby girl on 18 September 2021, and she has finally been given a name.
On Friday, the couple revealed through a post on Twitter that they have named their daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozi.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have named their daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi,” said the tweet.
Speaking to Hello!, a family friend revealed that the newborn was named in honour of Beatrice’s mother.
She said that Beatrice wanted to pick a name for their baby which began with the letter S and reflected the Duchess’ hair colour, which the baby has inherited.
“They were looking for an Italian name which started with an S for Sarah, to honour the duchess, and also reflected the golden rust colour of both the duchess’s hair colour and Beatrice’s which the new baby shares,” said the source.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have recently spent some time in New York City where they made their first public appearances since walking away from their royal duties.
Speaking to The Sun, royal writer Angela Levin revealed that Harry was spotted with a microphone wire hanging out of the back pocket of his trousers, and he was seen with a camera crew who filmed every moment of the conversation the Prince was having with members of the public.
“Harry was spotted with a microphone wire going into his back pocket and cameras were catching every moment of their chats with members of the public and the mayor of New York.
“My question is whether they have told all the people they are talking to that they will be included in the documentary,” said Angela.
