Harry and Meghan not attending William’s event for Diana

Speaking to US Weekly, a source has revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would not be travelling to the UK for Prince William’s event for their mother Princess Diana.

The event aims to celebrate donors who helped the brothers fund the Diana statue which was revealed earlier this year, as well as close friends and family of the late princess, including American musician Elton John.

“Harry is personally connecting with donors regarding the event,” said the source.

The source also said there was still tension between Harry and William since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex bid farewell to their royal duties.

“The relationship between Harry and William is still very much one of distance. I don’t just mean physical distance across the Atlantic, but they are not talking that much.

“There are still feelings of anger about the way the couple carried out their departure from their royal lives,” said the source.

The queen was spotted in a few photographs wearing a matching mauve coat and hat, being driven to the church to attend the service.

The last time the queen was spotted at the chapel was with her late husband Prince Philip last year July, when they attended the lockdown wedding of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Prince Andrew banned from lavish royal banquet

The son of Queen Elizabeth recently and secretly attended a conference with army colonels but was banished from having dinner with the rest of the party.

The Sun reported that sources from inside the palace confirmed that Andrew was not allowed to represent the Grenadier Guards, and he was asked to leave before the dinner took place.

“He sat at the back of the room and was not allowed to dine with his brother. It is quite a fall from grace,” said a source.

The prince has spent most of his time at Balmoral with his mother, hiding from US lawyers.

He will still face prosecution in the US over Virginia Roberts’ sexual abuse claims despite the fact that the Met Police have dropped the case.
