She is engaged to Neil Shraga and the two were have known each other for years, as they were “high school sweethearts”.
“We’re high school sweethearts! We haven’t been together since then but we’ve known each other for a really long time and I think that’s why we stay friends – which is important to me in a relationship. ” She explains to Yahoo! OMG South Africa.
Shraga reportedly popped the question on her best friend’s birthday, on the rooftop of the 12 Decades hotel, with a breakfast and banner saying: Will you marry me.
While the two live in Johannesburg they will be getting married in the coastal town of Plett. Burger explains it’s a special place for both of them.
“It’s a special place for both of us because we’ve been holidaying there since we were teenagers. And we really wanted a destination wedding. We’re not really getting married at a traditional wedding venue since that’s not really how we are. We’re getting married at Forrest Hall which is a 150 year old manor house in the Tsitsikamma forest It’s really amazing and so special. You have a beautiful view of the sea in front of you too. ” She says.
As for the numbers at her wedding and the famous faces that will be there, she explains it will be “well-known faces she has known since “kids’ TV days.”
“We’ve invited 160 but since it’s a destination wedding there will probably be around 110. As for celebs, I don’t move in “celeb” circles”. The well-known faces are those friends who I’ve known since kids’ TV days and my current co-host on ‘MTV Choice’, Sade Giliberti.” She adds.
